EL MAHROUSA, a 478-foot Samuda Brothers yacht built in 1865, ranks first in its history and in the records that have its own diameter. This yacht was designed for the Ottoman governor of Egypt and also landed on the water at the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869.

Obligatorily, it had to receive several updates over the years, including the replacement of impeller engines with turbine-driven propellers in 1905. a telegram was also made in 1912. EL MAHROUSA Yacht was extended by 40 feet in 1872 and again by 17 feet in 1905. The yacht is actually in the maintenance of the Egyptian Navy and is also used as a Presidential Yacht from time to time. It goes down in history as the world’s oldest working superyacht and the ninth tallest superyacht.
